When you love your food, you need to have a lovely dining area too to enjoy it to its full capacity. A warm and bright dining room will make the appetite soar and the food more appetizing. The open plan dining room features an unobstructed sense of space and a seamless connection with other common rooms, thereby increasing the interactivity and the ventilation in the space. In this ideabook we bring to you we bring to inspiring open planned dining areas that can fit in every home, to make your meal times more cherishable.
The space that your dining table inhabits should have a natural impact on the chairs you choose. For example, if you have a tall table in a contemporary kitchen area, you might prefer some tall bar stools, to give a breakfast bar look. Whereas, if your table is in an open-plan room, you'll want chairs that align with your sofa choice and other decorative touches!
Round tables are an important aesthetic option, with some clear advantages. They are more welcoming, versatile, social and less annoying for diners: the legs are less uncomfortable and because there are no corners, we can avoid painful encounters. However, they require a very special space and are not suitable for crowded parties.
It's a commonly accepted myth that dining table and chairs have to all match absolutely perfectly, but a little variation can work terrifically well. By selecting a few different shades for seat pads, a funky and modern look can be effortlessly created and against a neutral backdrop, such as a white wall, the visual impact will be utterly incredible. Different colour palettes could even be used, seasonally.
